We are well into 2017. One month has gone by and social media marketers/ bloggers have started executing their plans for 2017. Every year we see innovative marketing templates and excel sheets being shared online. This year too some marketers have been kind enough to share their social media marketing templates for all of us to use.
Here 7 useful templates that will help you execute your social media & marketing plans.
1. Content calendar
While browsing through some posts on Reddit, I cane across this content calendar template shared by user ‘WrathOfKan’. This is great template that can be used for blogs and social media content monthly.

3. Social media proposal template for your clients
In one of my earlier posts I did put together free social media proposal templates. This one would be a great addition to that list. It is short yet comprehensive covering all points that you should include in your Social Media proposal. Even if you have your own template go through this one to see if you have covered all these points in your proposal. One point I like in this proposal is a section that explains your client’s involvement.

4. Complete web strategy template by David Merman Scott
David Merman Scott is one my favourite marketers. His book The New Rules of Marketing & PR is a great read and I urge all marketers to read it. This template by David defines a web strategy in a info-graphic manner followed by a planning template. You may want to use this template if you have just started planning or are a new business.

5. One pager Template
If you are one man show running a small business or blog and don’t have time to spend on elaborate planning templates, then this one is for you. A one page marketing plan template that covers all important areas and monthly tactics all in one page.

6. Social media report template
Talkwalker.com published this useful all-in-one social media report template in Dec 2016. It includes all points that should be covered in a typical B2B social media report. What I like about this template is the clear division of general stats such as ‘share of voice’ and internal stats such as conversions, likes etc.
Note: This template is upon subscription only. You will need to submit your email id in order to receive a download link in your inbox.
7. Blogger Mediat Kit template: All bloggers will love this template.
Every blogger at some point finds him/herself wanting to create a media kit to start reaching out to agencies and businesses. A media kit acts as an essential document that helps convey your “popularity” among your niche. Beautifuldawndesigns.net puts together colourful and useful templates for bloggers. Their one page media kit template in my opinion is one of the best. It highlights the essential information sections such as target audience, blog stats, social stats etc. This template is free to download but you will need to subscribe. I would say it’s definitely worth it because they have some great content going!
Their website policy does not allow third-party sites to share the download link, therefore here is the link to the page from where you can download the template.
Conclusion
All the above templates are great, I personally use the content calendar for my blogs and the social media campaign template at times. It’s up to you to choose which one of these fits the best for your business.
Let me know if you use a template that’s worth sharing!
