Once you have created a Facebook page for growing your business, you need to build up your fan list. Fan page is not created just for popularity rather to sell your products. Any marketing plan is considered to be successful only when it is able to convert their audience into clients.

By having a large number of fans on Facebook, you have very important advantages like enhanced customer support, building of reputation and finally conversion of fans into clients. However, you may not see rise in sale immediately but over time you will know. The initial agenda of any business is to reach out to audience, distribute information, create potential customers and keeping your fans engaged.

Here are few ways by which you can make your business Facebook page reach out to your targeted audience.

Posting too often isn’t a good idea – many people fall for this trap. You have start getting fans for your Facebook page and then you think that now you have an audience and a channel to spread the word, so I should constantly feed them with updates. No, this is completely wrong. Rather deliver good quality content even if it is only once a day. You will never lose fans for not posting but you can if you post too often. They will start with hiding your update and end up by un-following you. For enhancing your edge rank, one should post good and engaging content.

Posting of captivating content – it is quite simple and obvious. The more interesting your content would be the audience is more likely to engage in your posts. The interaction is directly proportional to your edge rank on Facebook. You need to keep a track of your posts and after some time you will get an idea what content is getting more attention and engagement from the audience. Once you know, you should start posting the same kind more often.
Usage of images and video – sometime people take less interest in written posts and they get merged with other updates on the wall. Rather images and videos are more captivating for a person. Even the statistics has showed that videos get 100% more engagement, photos 120% and photo albums get 180%. By the above calculation, it is easy to understand why usage of images and videos are important.

Feedback – it is a very important aspect for any business. Feedback from clients gives you scope for improvement and lets you know what is in demand. Also, you will be attracting a lot of engagement from the public by asking for feedback and thus increasing your edge rank at the same time. The only thing you need to take care of in this case is that you ask such questions which people are interested in answering. For instance, which colour is preferred? if you are a clothing company or what would people like for dinner for a restaurant and many more. If you accomplish this task successfully you will have high visibility with high edge rank.
